Haha, I like the Alliance... sometimes! My love for the horde is just too strong for me to play the other side much. :T (All of my characters are BEs and Undead, /sob)
Proooobably. I might have to wait a week or so until I can get my bank account setup and pay for it, but since Ricky's playing again I think I might join him.
I'm going to make a warlock. :D And probably stick to playing her and finally getting my priest to 80. Ricky's got one of his friends playing again too, so we can all get leveled and geared up for when Cataclysm comes out!
Yeah! :D It seems like they've made leveling easier in general, too. There's a new group system and a built in questhelper system/map and everything. I'm not sure if I'm going to class today or not (I think I'm getting sick), but if I'm at home I'll probably get on WoW around 11:30/12 or so. My new character's name is Antenora, so look for her or Medli whenever you get on next.
The only bad thing is that I'm playing on my ancient computer for the time being, haha.

Man, trawling online stores the other day I saw a FFXI collection for $20 that had all the expansions and whatnot. I stared at it for a long time debating whether or not starting the game back up was worth it. I've had quite the craving for high adventure with friends lately. One of these days I'll find another MMORPG to play.
I have the same problem every time something reminds me of FFXI! Even if WoW is easier to get back into and play right away, Vana'diel will always be my favorite MMORPG world. Here's hoping FFXIV will be good!
I think the difficulty in getting back into the game is the only reason I've only gone back to FFXI once after quitting. These days I don't even know anyone to make jumping back in easier. D: Probably for the better, being in university and everything, but that doesn't stop the nostalgia. I've got a whole folder of screencaps.
Here here! I haven't heard much about it, to be honest, but after so many years experience with XI surely Square will have something spectacular and implemented/managed well.
Yeah, the few times I've tried to go back it was hard because everyone was doing... what are the new group things? I can't even remember the names of them, haha - but I was too far behind in ToAU missions to get anything done and nobody wanted to go back and help. It's always hard to sign on and see that so many linkshell friends have quit, and stuff like that.
